Challange

In 2017, Hurricane Harvey, the wettest tropical cyclone on record in the US, decimated Houston. As the city looked to rebuild, the Astros looked to uplift the city by making the playoffs and reaching the World Series for the very first time.

We set out to create a video that told the story of a healing city, and a team on a mission to earn history.

Solution

Through the playoffs, it was clear this team was fighting for more than just a game. As they clinched their first league pennant, our team filmed and updated the anthemic “Earn History” video and was on standby to put the finishing touches on it in the event that the Astros won it all.

Results

Win it all they did. Editing the final video just minutes after they showered themselves in the victory Budweisers, the video was shared across the brand’s national social channels. Ultimately, we helped give the city, the team, and the Anheuser-Busch brand earn a place in history.
